Dear AIS Parents,

The International Children’s Festival is approaching soon and we are all very excited about it!  The festival will be held on Friday, October 28th here at the school. Parents, children and teachers are encouraged to wear costumes that celebrate different cultures from around the world. The schedule for the event is as follows:

09:20 – 11:00 Infants and Toddlers

11:20 – 13:00 Preschool and Prekindergarten

14:20 – 16:00 Kindergarten and Primary

Remarks:

• The detailed schedule will be sent prior to the event.

• Indoor shoes are NOT necessary!

• We ask that you do not wear anything that could scare other children, as we have children of all ages including very young children, and we want to make this event pleasant for everyone.

• No food or gifts/toys distribution from the parents is allowed on the school premises.

• Parents are required to attend and accompany their child during their session mentioned above.

• Siblings in different divisions are allowed to attend another session with their parents.

• Due to limited space, only two parents/guardians per child are permitted.

• There will be no bus or day care on that day.

• Two main activities will take place at the Festival:

Costume Parade:

It will be held on the 10th floor. Parents and children are invited to wear costumes related to any world culture they like. Student can wear fairy tale costumes if you cannot find culture related items. Students and parents will also enjoy taking photos here.

Culture Booths:

The classrooms on 9th and 11th floors will be decorated with cultural items and students will be able to enjoy activities. We will have maps, pictures, and activities related to the culture that Each class is assigned to.  Parents are encouraged to share any culture related items that they have at home. Please feel free to contact with your child’s teachers to help.

インターナショナルチルドレンフェスティバルが近づいてまいりましたので、詳細をお知らせさせていただきます。

10月28日（金）に本校で開催されるこのフェスティバルは、世界中のさまざまな文化をお祝いするというコンセプトをもとに、生徒、先生そして保護者の皆さまにもどこかの国や文化に関する仮装をしてご参加いただきたいと考えております。スケジュールは以下の通りです。

09:20 – 11:00 Infants and Toddlers

14:20 – 16:00 Kindergarten and Primary

注意：

• スケジュールの詳細はイベント前にメールにてお伝え致します。

• 室内履きをお持ちいただく必要はありません。

• 他のお子様を怖がらせるような衣装は禁止です。小さい年齢の子供も参加しますので、ご配慮をお願いいたします。すべての参加者にとって楽しいイベントにするためにご協力をお願いします。

• 保護者からの食べ物や贈り物・おもちゃの配布は、本校で事前にお知らせしているように許可されておりません。

• このイベントには保護者の方の同伴が必要です。

• ご兄弟のいる生徒でイベント時間が異なる場合は、保護者の方といっしょにご兄弟のクラスのセッションにもご参加いただけます。

• 施設の関係上、お一人の生徒につき保護者の同伴はお二人までとさせていただきます。

• イベント当日はバスの運行もデイケアもありません。

• このフェスティバルでは主に２つのアクティビティをご用意しております。

コスチュームパレード：

10階で開催されます。保護者の皆さまと生徒はお好きな文化に関する仮装をしてご参加ください。文化に関する仮装が難しい場合は、お好きなキャラクター等に関する仮装でも構いません。ここでは皆さまがご自由に写真を撮っていただけます。

カルチャーブース：

9階と11階の教室が何かの文化に関するアイテムで飾り付けされ、アクティビティを楽しんでいただけます。各クラスがそれぞれどこかの文化に関する地図や写真を飾り、その文化に関するアクテビティをご用意してお待ちしております。保護者の皆さまの中で、もし何か文化に関するアイテムをお持ちで、ご協力いただける場合は、ぜひ担任の先生にお声がけください。
