Hello everyone!

Today we started working on the last of our “five w” question words: “why”.

We started off with our usual warm up questions, danced and sang along to a couple of songs, played a quiz game about body-parts, animals, stationary and actions on the smartboard, then played the mystery word game to learn the spelling and phonetics of “like” and “favourite”.

After a short break we all worked together to draw and name the shapes, toys, animals and foods that we like on a large sheet of paper with crayons. It was a lot of fun and we spent more time on it than planned, so we only managed to do the first of our worksheets on “why” questions and “because” answers in writing time. We will continue on with the next ones next week.

After lunch we played musical chairs and an action and sea creature matching/memory game on the smartboard. Next we made jewelry and food out of playdough before heading up to the gym.

During snack time we watched another episode of “my little pony”, then went to the library to read some books, which included “the grouchy ladybug” and “ten in a bed”.
