This week we continued to study dates and times as part of our “When?” subtopic.

We started the day of with some general questions about feelings, weather etc., a review of the days of the week and played the mystery word game with the spellings of “Saturday” and “June”.

After practicing the pronunciations and sequence of the months, we played calendar bingo for the month of June and then did a work sheet requiring the kids to write the months in the correct order.

Before the morning schedule kids went home, we played musical chairs, red light green light and duck duck goose, then finished up with a team quiz on body parts using the smart board.

The afternoon schedule kids helped me to make a city out of playdough, including cars, buildings and roads, then headed up to the gym.

While we ate our afternoon snack we watched the Care Bears cartoon in English, then read some books in the library, before finishing the day with another smartboard quiz on food and eating.
