Hello everyone!

Today we continued on with our “who” topic. After a few songs and general questions, we learned a few pieces of new vocabulary; “policeman”, “fireman” and “doctor”. We practiced their pronunciation with a baseball game and then their phonetic spelling with the mystery word game.

We played a couple of games on the smartboard (counting and food vocabulary), then reviewed the family members we studied last week.

For our writing activity, the kids unscrambled the names of family members and wrote them under their pictures in preparation for making a family tree next week.

After a few games of musical chairs, red light green light and duck duck goose, some of the class went home and the rest made animals and shapes out of playdough.

Next we went and got some exercise in the gym, watched My Little Pony while we ate our snack and finished up the day with some stories down in the library.
