    Having Fun While Learning<\/h4>\n

    Learning through play is fundamental to the philosophy of learning at Horizon Japan International School Sendai Aoba. We recognize that play is an essential element in the development of young children, providing situations where they control the events and construct knowledge. Important conceptual, social, and language skills are developed during these times. Through play they explore their environment, learn to deal with problems, and learn to work within a group.<\/p>\n

    The Sooner The Better<\/h4>\n

    Infants, who learn through their senses, benefit most from early instruction. Their innate curiosity makes them exceptional learners with an eagerness to absorb everything they are taught. Learning occurs organically on a daily basis as they engage in play, exploration, and imitation, acquiring valuable skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n

    For non-native speakers, introducing English at an early age establishes a solid foundation in the language. Children effortlessly develop a natural rhythm, pronunciation, and intonation, setting the stage for linguistic proficiency in the future.<\/p>\n

    Learning By Creating Curiosity<\/h4>\n

    At HJIS Sendai Aoba, we believe that by nurturing curiosity, children develop essential knowledge, skills, and understanding to make sense of the world. Our approach supports their learning by providing opportunities to safely explore a variety of tools, encounter creatures, people, plants, and objects in their natural environments, engage in real-life situations, conduct practical \u2018experiments\u2019, and work with a range of different materials.<\/p>\n
