Grade 1 September Field Trip

We had a fantastic time at the Toyota Commemorative Museum.  Did you know that Toyota began by making looms to spin cotton into thread?  We could watch how cotton from a plant was processed by machines to become fabric that we use.  We also got to see how metal is melted and shaped with a giant forge press. Our favorite part was visiting Technoland.  We could go in a wind tunnel, learn how to drive a car safely and weave on a giant loom. It was so exciting.
